Delfin III is the most spacious Delfin vessel, built for travellers who want the Peruvian Amazon with more room to move while keeping the expedition rhythm of a small river ship. It carries up to 44 guests in 22 suites across four categories: one Owner’s Suite, two Corner Suites, ten Upper Suites and nine Suites. Cabins have floor-to-ceiling windows, private bathrooms, air-conditioning, safe, natural toiletries and daily housekeeping; the Owner’s and Corner Suites add mini fridges. Public spaces include indoor and outdoor lounges, a sun deck, pool, full bar, dining room, massage room, exercise room and boutique. This is the Delfin ship we would consider for guests who want the widest range of onboard spaces without moving into big-cruise territory. The experience remains active and nature-led: skiff outings, birdwatching, kayaking, forest walks, night safaris and river-community context are all part of the rhythm, adjusted to season and river level. Delfin III will suit travellers who appreciate comfort after hot, muddy, wildlife-focused days. It is less suited to guests looking for a tiny private-villa atmosphere, multiple restaurants, nightlife or guaranteed wildlife sightings. Embarkation is usually via Iquitos and Nauta, with transfers tied to recommended flights.

Food on Delfin III combines polished Peruvian cooking with Amazonian ingredients: paiche, local herbs, camu camu, ají charapita, regional fruits and fresh river flavours. Natural juices, coffee, tea, water, domestic beer, pisco cocktails and house wines with lunch and dinner are included.
Delfin III is part of Delfin’s broader community and conservation work, including local employment, practical support for Pacaya Samiria villages, a bee project, farm-to-table initiatives, reusable bottles, refillable amenities, local organic produce where possible, and waste systems designed to avoid river discharge.
