What we love about the Delfin II
Carries only 28 to 30 guests in 14 suites.
Four Master Suites have front-facing 90-degree panoramic windows.
Delfin II has four interconnecting Suites for families.
Its indoor lecture lounge makes it especially good for travellers who value interpretation.

Delfin II is the ship for travellers who want a serious Amazon expedition with a little more shared energy than Delfin I, but still in a very small group. With 14 suites for 28 to 30 guests, it feels personal on board while offering the practical spaces that make active Amazon days easier: an indoor lecture room and lounge, top-deck outdoor bar, dining room, massage room and exercise room. The four Master Suites sit at the front of the vessel with 90-degree panoramic windows; the ten Suites are comfortable, light-filled cabins with large windows and private bathrooms. We like Delfin II for travellers who care about guiding quality, daily interpretation, and time out in skiffs as much as the room itself. Expect early wildlife outings, kayaking where conditions allow, forest walks, birdwatching, community context, and quiet hours on deck as the river changes. High water, roughly January to June, gives deeper access by boat; low water, roughly July to December, usually brings more walking. Delfin II is not ideal for travellers who want a large spa, several dining venues, or a fully predictable itinerary, because water levels and wildlife always shape the final plan. Embarkation is through Iquitos with transfer onward to Nauta.

Delfin II serves Peruvian and Amazonian cuisine with a strong sense of place: local fruit, river fish, regional herbs, pisco cocktails, domestic beer and house wines with lunch and dinner. Meals are polished but not stiff, and special diets should be requested well before embarkation.
Delfin’s sustainability work is strongest where it is practical: local crews and guides, community support projects, reusable water bottles, refillable amenities, organic local produce where possible, and waste systems designed for river protection. Naturalists also frame excursions around respect for Pacaya Samiria and its communities.
