Compare handpicked Vietnam river cruises.
This page brings together the small-ship Mekong journeys through Vietnam that we think are worth your attention, including shorter Delta routes and longer cruises continuing into Cambodia. We compare routes, ships, dates, prices, availability, and what is included, then present the strongest options in one place.
Use the filters below to compare departure dates, ships, destinations, prices, and remaining spaces. Availability is refreshed regularly, usually every 15 minutes. If a trip fits and only a few spaces remain, place a no-obligation booking while you decide.
We are independent advisors. Our job is not to push one departure. It is to help you choose the Vietnam river cruise that actually fits: the right route, season, direction, duration, cabin, and balance between time aboard and time ashore.
The Mekong Delta is not scenery beside the journey. The water is the road. Channels and tributaries connect market towns, farming communities, workshops, temples, and islands that make far more sense from a small boat than through a coach window.
A river cruise lets the landscape unfold instead of turning it into a series of transfers. Routes may connect My Tho, Sa Dec or Binh Thanh, My An Hung, and Chau Doc before crossing the border toward Phnom Penh. The Aqua Mekong carries up to 40 guests in 20 suites, providing a comfortable base while smaller skiffs handle close-up exploration.
That balance matters. The main vessel covers distance while you eat, rest, or watch life along the river. Skiff trips, walks, cycling, markets, villages, and local visits provide the detail. The river connects the experience rather than merely decorating it.
The live comparison on this page currently includes four-, five-, and eight-day Aqua Mekong itineraries. Shorter routes focus on the lower Mekong between Ho Chi Minh City and Phnom Penh. Longer journeys continue through Cambodia toward Siem Reap, creating a fuller Vietnam and Cambodia river cruise.
Water levels shape the itinerary. High-water routes can use Tonle Sap and reach places such as Prek Toal and Moat Khla by water. At lower water, the Cambodian section changes. Direction matters too: the same broad route can feel different depending on whether you begin in Vietnam or Cambodia.
Start by choosing the route and duration, then compare season, direction, cabin availability, transfers, and inclusions. A four-day journey gives you a concentrated Delta experience. An eight-day sailing provides more context and removes a flight or long overland transfer between southern Vietnam and Cambodia.
