This 3-night expedition is the perfect short voyage for travelers wishing to connect the dots between two of Southeast Asia's most dynamic cities: Phnom Penh and Ho Chi Minh City. While shorter in duration, this itinerary does not compromise on depth. We traverse the lower Mekong, crossing the international border and immersing ourselves in the bustling life of the Vietnamese Delta.
The journey is characterized by its variety; one day you are witnessing Khmer traditions in Cambodia, and the next you are exploring Mahayana Buddhist pagodas and vibrant floating markets in Vietnam. We find this trip particularly well-suited for active guests, with daily opportunities to cycle 17–18 kilometers through flat, scenic islands and villages. For those preferring a slower pace, private skiffs and local sampans offer intimate access to the Delta’s canals without the exertion.
